Free Links Bid Web Directory - First free bidding directory?

A new bidding directory, claiming to be the first free bidding web directory was launched today. The apply named Free Links Bid Web Directory  was announced at some webmaster forums. If a directory is a bid directory, how can it be free? The webmaster of the directory explained that “with traditional web bidding web directories, you have to bid a minimum priced to get listed, but with Free Links Bid Web Directory the minimum price which is $1 is free. So if you submit your site to Free Links Bid Web Directory  and bid $1, your site will be activated.

You can still bid at the site like on a typical web directory but you get a bonus of $5 credit for each bid you place and paid for.
